A Mega-sized Mural


“Fertile Ground”

In 2008 Susan had the opportunity to join the crew of Philadelphia Monumental artist; Meg Saligman, in painting the largest single project mural in the United States.  Other members of the painting crew included; Eleanor Yates and James Tafel Shuster and several other fine artists.

This is a 35,000sq. ft. mural is located in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, on the Energy Systems Building (602 N. 13th St.). The mural reflects the depth of the city’s cultural landscape and highlights Omaha’s people, history, landscape and community.

This project was sponsored by the Kewitt Foundation and the Bemis Center for the Arts.
