“Northern Colorado Triptych”
This movable, corner fitting display, with two side panels, is used in temporary installations from time to time at the Fort Collins Historical Museum. This display backdrop depicts an idealized view of the Front Range landscape with animals.
Acrylic paint on canvas, approximately 8’x 16’.

Detail of Coyote
I was having trouble painting the coyote. One evening on the way to my studio, a coyote crossed in front of my car and stood still in the headlights, giving me a chance to study it in detail. That night I was able to finish painting the coyote.
